April Prayer Points  

Our church and church family

Give thanks for God's goodness in this Easter period.  Thank him for his provision and pray that he will continue to provide for the needs of Holy Trinity and its family.

Pray for our PCC and the work they oversee.  

Pray for our AGM later this month and for new and returning PCC members.  

Ashby and Area

As Spring arrives pray for our gardens and local spaces.  Pray that they may be well maintained and a haven for us and wildlife.  Give thanks for the activities they support and may we find ways to use these to support the spread of the Gospel.

Nationally

Pray for our countryside and the people and species it supports.  Pray for good management and protection.  Pray that we are caretakers of God's world, not just users.

Pray for farmers at this busy time.  

Give thanks for the new life in our fields and pray for those who work to bring this about.    

Internationally

Pray for the work of international organisations bringing aid and support to those who  need it  particularly food aid.  Pray for areas where this work is particularly needed at this time.

Pray for the work of Open Doors.  

We pray particularly for their work in  Syria (Serving Persecuted Christians Worldwide - Syria - Open Doors UK & Ireland) and Vietnam (Serving Persecuted Christians Worldwide - Vietnam - Open Doors UK & Ireland)
