Adult Confirmation 

There will be a Confirmation Service with Bishop Saju for the churches of the North West Leicestershire Deanery to be held at St Helen’s Church, Ashby at 10.30 a.m. on Sunday 14th July.  Anyone interested in finding out what is involved in being Confirmed please get in touch with Stephen Brook at revstephenbrook@gmail.com

Confirmation provides an opportunity to make a public confession of faith in Jesus as well as for the Bishop to pray that each candidate might receive the fulness of the Holy Spirit.  It is an opportunity to be welcomed into full communicant membership of the Church of England. Candidates are required to be regular worshippers at our church and to have attended a Christian Basics course such as Alpha.
