Celebrating New Life

At Holy Trinity we love to welcome people to the family of God. One way we do this is by welcoming families who bring their young children to be baptised (Christened).

A Personal Connection

We would love to arrange for parents from our church family to come and visit you in your home. They would make a short visit at a time that works for everyone concerned.

They will be able to introduce themselves and get to know you a bit. They then will be familiar faces when you attend the preparation evening and also on the day of your child's baptism.

The Preparation Evening

From 2018 we are providing an evening to prepare parents for the baptism of their child. The evening will take place on a Tuesday in Holy Trinity Church and will be lead by our Vicar Tim Phillips, and our Associate minister Stephen Brook.

The evening will run from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and there will be light refreshments provided.

From February 2018 this preparation evening is a requirment for all families wishing to have their children baptised at Holy Trinity Ashby. Your child's baptism service date remains provisional, until the baptism preparation has been completed.

Attending a Sunday Service

We would love you to be able to visualise what will happen during your child's baptism service, and to meet the church family that you are bringing your child to be a part of.
