Fig Tree Church
A new church community being planted by a small team from Holy Trinity Ashby.
185 years ago, Holy Trinity Ashby was planted by another local church, St. Helen’s.
Over the last few years, some of us have been sensing the call of God to get ready to plant. To send a small team from this church, to start a new church in our community.
Our hope, is that Fig Tree will reach new people in new ways - particularly those for whom (for whatever reason) standing up and sitting down in rows on Sundays really doesn't work…
In the months ahead, we’ll begin to meet in various locations at different times of the week, including homes and community spaces. We'll be gathering inside and outside, sharing food, opening up the Bible and inviting people to follow Jesus - and do life together.
