Headteachers

This webpage is headteachers in Ashby and beyond.

The churches in Ashby recognise that headteachers have a unique role in our communities. We are so grateful for all you do to educate and care for the lives of young people (and their families). This page is to help you do that job.

The Garden Room

The Garden Room supports the well-being of adults in our community. You can read more at trinityashby.net/tgr

Ashby Foodbank

Schools can now register for e-vouchers and have multiple logins for different staff members. If you see someone you think is in need, you are most welcome to offer them a foodbank voucher. You can read more about how Ashby Foodbank works at trinityashby.net/foodbank

Warm Spaces

Pathways Cafe

There is a well-established Thursday morning drop-in at Holy Trinity. As well as a welcoming community, various agencies are represented, including Housing Matters and the Ashby Clothesbank for Children (see trinityashby.net/acfc). See trinityashby.net/pathways for details.

Heart Warming Space

Every Friday, from 1 pm to 4 pm, we offer a 'Heart Warming Space' to all the family at St Helen's Community Heritage Centre. Please come along for tea, cake, chat, cards and games. There is always a 'children's corner.' See the page on St Helen's website for more details.

Christians Against Poverty

Christians Against Poverty is an incredible international organisation. We have partnered with them to provide award-winning dept help in this area for over ten years. Currently, we have a Debt Centre Manager, the CAP Money Course, the (formerly CAP) Fresh Start Course overseen by our CAP Services Director, Katie Johnson.

Debt Centre

The CAP Debt Centre can provide in-home help to households in unmanageable debt, and this help can last from six months to multiple years. For 2024, we have two paid debt coaches on our team.

Money Course

The CAP Money Course is a three-week money management course for those who want to manage their money better.

Fresh Start

Fresh Start is a CAP-developed course helping to change habits.
