Holy Trinity and Church family

In the period between Ascension and Pentecost Thy Kingdom Come encourages us to pray for 5 people we know to come and know God.  Following along with this, pray this month for 5 people you know to join Christ's family.

Ashby and Area

• Pray for God in our workplaces.  For our local workplaces and for those in our churches who work further afield.  Pray for us as witnesses where we work.
• Pray for events in our town.  Pray for Christians in positions of influence in their organisation and leadership.  Pray for bravery to stand up for God. Pray for our new County Council as they take up their roles following the recent election. 

Nationally

• Pray for the work of Chaplains in the UK - in hospitals, Universities, prisons, armed forces etc  Thank God for those who serve in these roles and  labour for God in these places.
• Pray for the local elections and the newly elected representatives.  May they show good leadership for the benefit of all. Pray for our new County Council as they take up their roles.

Internationally

• Pray for those who are hungry.  In Southern and Eastern Africa, Gaza, Sudan, and other places that we hear of.
• Pray for those living in poverty.  For example, About one in five people in Latin America and the Caribbean live in poverty. Pray for an end to global poverty.
