The Garden Room Cafe & Fun with Flowers Workshop

Saturday 12 July 9:30-11.00am at Holy Trinity Ashby, Kilwardby Street, LE65 2FR

Join us at Holy Trinity Ashby on the morning of Saturday 12 July for a cuppa and a piece of cake - and kick off the weekend in style. 

Alongside our little pop-up cafe at the back of church, we will be hosting one of our popular free ‘Fun with Flowers’ workshops.

Choose your favourite jam jar, fill it with your choice of flowers cut from our local growing spaces and take them home to brighten up your weekend, or give away - and make someone smile!

The Garden Room Cafe is a great place to bring children or grandchildren, arrange a Saturday morning get together with a friend, or meet new people, if you’ll be coming along on your own.

There is no charge for this event, which is hosted by local community gardening project The Garden Room.

About Us

These events are being hosted by local community gardening project The Garden Room - and are part of a series of Saturday morning events in 2024. We run two growing spaces in Ashby where we grow cut flowers and fresh fruit and veg that we share with our community, to bring joy and make people smile. We welcome new volunteers and if you’d like to grow with us this year, we’d love to meet you. Find out more about The Garden Room
