April Prayer Points

Our Church and Church Family

• Give thanks for God's goodness.  Thank him for his provision and pray that he will continue to provide for the needs of Holy Trinity and its family. 
• Pray for our PCC and the work they oversee.  Pray for our annual meeting later this month and for new and returning PCC members.  

Ashby and area

• As our town and surrounding villages expand, pray for the new people coming into our community.
• Pray for openness to the Gospel and for the addition of more Christians in our community.

Nationally

• Pray for our countryside and the people and species it supports. Pray for good management and protection.  Pray that we are caretakers of God's world, not just users.
• Pray for farmers at this busy time. Give thanks for the new life in our fields and pray for those who work to bring this about.    

Internationally

• Pray for the work of international organisations bringing aid and support to those who  need it  particularly food aid.  Pray for areas where this work is particularly needed at this time.
• Pray for the work of Open Doors.  We pray particularly for their work in Sudan and Nicaragua
