Prayer Points for August

Our church

Pray for growth within our church, for new joiners and also growth within each person in their relationship with God.  For new initiatives, for God's clear guidance and for understanding and direction for those in leadership.  Open our hearts and minds to you.

Our Town/Locaility

Pray for holiday bible club taking place at the Baptist Church the week of 10th August.  Pray for the leaders and all those attending.  May this be a wonderful opportunity to share about you.
Pray for events in our town.  Thank you that we live in an active community.  Pray for opportunities to share about you through these. 

Our Nation

Homelessness in  the UK - for the homeless and those at risk.  For housing provision and this clear need that is to be addressed in our nation
For our Royal Family as they represent the nation at home and abroad.

Our World

We pray for our climate - as heatwaves become more common, rains change and drought occurs.  May God's hand be with us and guide us
